As part of the Warba Bank management’s keenness to raise the standard of all employees, which reflects positively on the quality of products and customer services, Warba Bank continues its first-of-its-kind "Re’aya" initiative to support talented employees in achieving their personal goals away from the career aspect, where a group of employees were selected and supported on both the material and moral levels to achieve their ambitions.
In this regard, CEO Shaheen H. Al-Ghanem said: "We are keen to follow the latest international development plans to improve our human resources talents, as the Bank's management and the Board of Directors believe that they are the main element for any development and growth.
He explained that “This program comes within our constant endeavor to create a positive work environment at Warba Bank, and to make the bank a landmark in the banking sector in terms of interest in employee experiences and raising the level of job satisfaction. Last year we focused on some talents in the fields of health, sports, and technical sciences, in addition to photography and arts skills. More areas of interest to Warba Bank employees will be listed later.”
Al-Ghanem continued, saying: “Caring for the other side of the employee’s life and its development in the aspects that are important to him is no less important than his development in the field of work. Giving attention to the personal side of the employee enhances job loyalty and belonging and is considered an added value to the benefits provided by the Bank to its employees”.
He stated that Warba Bank has succeeded in recent years in implementing many important initiatives in order to develop its employees, which created more loyalty among employees to the institution to which they belong.
These efforts come within the Bank's social responsibility towards its employees. Employees Ali Al-Wazzan and Noura Al-Bassam are considered the last participants in the program for the year 2022.
In the same context, employee Ali Al-Wazzan said: "This Program is an addition to our sports hobbies, adding that such sponsorships increase the employee's belief in creativity, due to the employer’s interest and care away from basic work considerations."
Noura Al-Bassam said: "Supporting the charitable field of employees enhances the value of the Islamic human identity, which is consistent with Warba Bank." Al-Bassam added: "The recent sponsorship of my journey in the charitable work program is a great addition in the voluntary charitable field."
Warba Bank worked on an integrated plan during the year 2022 in order to motivate employees and unleash their personal creativity. The Bank also constantly listens to employees’ opinions and suggestions regarding the work environment and improving productivity through official channels such as annual online surveys or through meetings and discussions that target specific segments and that meet employees' satisfaction.
Warba Bank succeeded, shortly after its founding, in establishing its position in the banking sector, and occupied a leading position in the field of Islamic digital banking services for individuals and is considered the local bank with the highest number of shareholders base from members of society, which makes it close to them by providing the best banking services. Warba managed to meet the aspirations of the Kuwaiti society and deservedly earned their trust in a short period.
