Terms & Conditions

General Program Terms:
  • Youths who stop receiving their student allowance in their Warba Bank accounts for a period of 45 consecutive days will no longer be eligible for the exclusive Wave Banking benefits.
  • If the student’s allowance is deposited during the 45 days duration, the customer will be eligible again automatically.
  • Youths are responsible for maintaining their eligibility criteria to continue benefiting from the service.
  • Warba Bank reserves the right to amend or update the terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated through Warba Bank’s official website and digital social media platforms.
Terms for “Vouchers”:
  • Each customer is eligible to claim all available vouchers once per calendar month.
  • Unredeemed coupons expire 24 hours after being claimed.
  • After redemption, coupons can be used later as per the merchant’s terms and conditions.
  • Coupons are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Offer is only available to eligible “Wave Banking” segment customers.

    Why should I join Wave Banking?
    Wave Banking is the revamped youth segment, designed and developed with digital experiences in mind, providing a modern way of banking and tailored privileges designed to support your financial growth and enhance your overall experience with Warba Bank.     What documents do I need for sign up?
    You are only required to provide a valid Kuwaiti Civil ID.
    How can I transfer my student allowance to Warba Bank?
    Using the application, you can access the Allowance Transfer form. All you have to do to is choose your university from the list. Then download the document, it is pre-fill with all your information. Sign it and submit it to your university. That’s it!
    Where can I find the exclusive Wave Banking discounts?
    The discounts will show in the Marketplace section in the mobile application. Wave Banking customers will have access to the different deals and offers.
    Is the Imtyiaz Reward only limited to some universities and colleges?
    We are expanding our network of participating universities and colleges, check back frequently, we will be adding more.
    When I applied for the Imtiyaz reward, I got wrongly rejected, why?
    If the University is part of the Imtiyaz reward network, and you are applying for the correct semester, and you meet the required GPA, you may reapply for the reward in the application and uploading a clearer transcript.
    What makes the Game Edition card special?
    It is the first prepaid card in Kuwait specifically developed for online gamers with special deals, rewards, and exclusive benefits. In addition, Wave Banking customers get a fixed 3% cashback. When you get a Game Edition card you will also unlock the Game Edition theme.
    Can I switch back and forth from Wave Banking to Game Edition application theme?
    Yes, you will be able to switch application themes by going to the app’s settings, then ‘Profiles & Themes’ under the Personalization menu. There will be exclusive offers for Game Edition card holders, and there are offers exclusive for Wave, you can switch themes to access all offers.
    Can I still use my Wave Banking benefits if my allowance is delayed?
    If the delay exceeds a period of 45 days, the exclusive benefits will be paused until the allowance is deposited in the account.
    When will my cashback be credited in my “Pocket”?
    The cashback amount will be calculated upon the end of the month and may take up to 5 business days to be processed and deposited as points in the customer’s digital “Pocket” in the Bank’s mobile application. The customer can exchange Pocket Points for cash in addition to other offers and discounts.
    If I lose eligibility during the month, what happens to my 3% cashback?
    For cashback, the customer’s eligibility is determined based on the customer’s segment at the beginning of the month. If the customer was segmented as Wave Banking on the 1st day of the month, he/she will continue receiving 3% for all transactions made during the month even if downgraded.
    If I transfer my student allowance to another bank, will I still have Wave Banking benefits?
    Some benefits will be lost such as Imtiyaz Reward, 3% cashback, Talabat, and Oula benefits. However, you will still have access to the app’s marketplace with the various discounts and offers.
    If I am a Master’s Degree student, can I still apply for the Imtiyaz reward?
    Yes, as long as you are within the segment age range, and continue receiving the student allowance you qualify for the reward.
    What should I do if I suspect lose my card or suspect fraud?
    You should immediately log in the app to report your card lost/stolen. Or, you can call the bank at 1825555 or contact us through What’s App at +965 51625555. You should act immediately.
