Senior Manager of Human Resources at Warba Bank, Ziyad Moayed Al-Rsheed, gave a lecture on "communicating with your manager", talking with the direct manager in the scope of the work environment, to MBA students at Gulf University for Science and Technology, during the workshop held at GUST.
Al-Rsheed said: Mastering the art of dealing with the manager according to proper rules is one of the most important foundations for success recommended at work, as this leads to creating a professional working relationship based on trust and respect between the employee and his manager.
Al-Rsheed presented some methods that the manager must follow to achieve this relationship, explaining that there are also some steps that the employee must adhere to, and how to deal with the manager professionally.
He also noted that the Bank's human resources are considered the real wealth and the secret behind its achievements and successive successes, stressing the keenness of the senior management to develop these resources and invest in them by all possible means in accordance with the latest international standards.
Al-Rsheed pointed out that Warba Bank recorded several achievements in human resources management during the year 2022, which varied between obtaining prestigious international awards, implementing new systems, and signing new agreements to develop the sector.
He explained that "Warba" attaches great importance to human resources, and works to raise the performance of employees with the best training and development policies and the digitization strategy, while continuing to attract Kuwaiti talents, working on empowering them, enhancing their experiences, improving their skills and enriching their knowledge to achieve professional success and career development.
Al-Rsheed stated that, in order to achieve its strategic objectives, Warba has accelerated the process of transforming into a smart environment, implementing digital transformation and automating operations in most of its businesses, and raising the efficiency of electronic transactions within its departments, to completely reduce paper transactions.
He continued: «The effective and competitive goals set by the human resources of Warba Bank had sustainable impact on the work environment and added value to the performance of "Warba" during 2022, and were based on huge effort, full participation, the employees' sense of appreciation, and the provision of a comfortable, fair and positive work environment”.
Al-Rsheed praised Warba's track record in recruiting and developing national talents, as it succeeded in implementing the strategy of attracting and developing national talents. He explained that "Warba" is characterized by having the largest number of Kuwaiti employees among the Kuwaiti banks and all private sector institutions.
Al-Rsheed stressed that "Warba" was keen to invest in training and designing specialized programs through professional digital platforms, due to the importance of human resources as fundamental assets and real energy for the success of the institution, raising performance, and improving efficiency.
Al-Rsheed pointed out that the relations and cooperation with some institutions aim to train and qualify employees in a professional manner, based on the concept of technical efficiency and international profession standards, through qualitative training specialized in the nature of job and with international specifications, and providing opportunities to obtain accredited certificates of competency, and joining the most prestigious international institutions.
