As part of Warba Bank’s keenness to raise the quality of all its employees, which reflects positively on the standard of products and customer services, Warba Bank continues its first-of-its-kind "Re’aya" initiative to support talented employees to achieve their personal goals away from the job aspect, where a group of employees were selected and supported on both the material and moral levels to achieve their ambitions.
In this regard, CEO Shaheen H. Al-Ghanem said "We are very keen to follow the latest global development plans to improve the talents of our human resources, as we believe that they are the main element for any development and growth. This program comes as part of our constant endeavor to create a positive work environment in Warba Bank, and make the Bank a milestone in the banking sector in terms of paying attention to employee experiences and raising the level of job satisfaction”.
“This year, the focus is on some talents in fields related to health, sports, and technical sciences, in addition to photography and arts skills. More fields of interest to Warba Bank employees will be listed later” he added.
Al-Ghanem continued: “Caring for the other side of the employee’s life and its development in the aspects that are important to him is no less important than his development in the field of work. Giving attention to the personal side of the employee enhances job loyalty and belonging and is considered an added value to the benefits provided by the Bank to its employees”.
He stated that Warba Bank succeeded in the past few years in implementing many important initiatives for the development of its employees, which contributed to creating more loyalty among employees to the institution to which they belong.
Al-Ghanem stressed that the remaining of this year will witness more initiatives that will develop the employees’ creativity. The Bank aims through this effort to discover more talented people and promote them in their career in line with their ambitions.
These efforts come within the Bank’s social responsibility towards its employees, and the employee Omar Bader Al-Omar, is the second employee selected to enhance his talent in sports field and the marathon in particular. The bank sponsored Al-Omar on his two trips, in the Copenhagen Marathon, which started on September 18 with the participation of more than 25,000 contestants, and will continue to sponsor him in the Valencia Marathon with the participation of More than 30,000 contestants on December 4. During this year, the Bank will fulfill the wishes of at least 10 employees to develop and enhance their professional skills.
In the same context, employee Omar Bader Al-Omar said: "What the Bank offers is an addition to enhancing our sporting hobbies” adding that such sponsorships increase the employee's belief in creativity, after the care provided by the Bank to him away from basic work considerations.
It is worth noting that Warba Bank worked on an integrated plan during 2022 in order to motivate employees and release their personal creativity, and the Bank always seeks to listen to employees’ opinions and suggestions regarding the work environment and productivity development through official channels such as electronic surveys that are held annually or through meetings and discussions that target specific segments and meet the acceptance and satisfaction of employees.
