Warba, a batch of human resources employees passed the qualification program

KUWAIT, September 2022

Warba Bank announced that a group of employees of the Human Resources Group passed the three months long qualification program, during which three workshops were held, in addition to self-education programs, as well as passing several tests and preparing specialized technical reports that were approved by specialists, in cooperation with SHL, a leading company in this field and internationally accredited by the British Psychological Association. Warba Bank aims, through such programs, to launch the Talent Assessment and Development Center, which is part of the human resources strategy at Warba Bank, which is affiliated with the Warba Institute for Leadership and Education..



On this occasion, the Chief Human Resources and General Services Officer Maali AlRasheed said: “Warba Bank is keen to continue its investment in Kuwaiti manpower, and its commitment in supporting the efforts to nationalize workers, and implement an integrated strategy for training and talent development".



AlRasheed stressed that the adoption of international standards results in determining the factors for selecting qualified staff, at various administrative levels, according to specific criteria, and employing their skills and capabilities in the right place, which will benefit the employees in particular, and the performance of Warba Bank in general.



AlRasheed added that these efforts were made to develop the selection process, to ensure the suitability of candidates for job vacancies and succession plans, which will contribute to improving the employee's experience at Warba Bank, and enhancing practical experiences and leadership skills, which benefit the development of the Bank's employees' performance from several aspects, the most important of which is the work environment.



She pointed out that Warba Bank considers the employment and development of Kuwaiti youth as a continuous strategy reinforced by the growth opportunities and the Bank’s market share, which requires employing Kuwaitis, who will contribute in achieving the desired success and aspirations of the Bank in all fields.



AlRasheed stated that "Warba" has made remarkable progress in the digital transformation strategy at the level of human resources, noting the reliance on digital platforms and advanced technological tools in the processes of conducting personal interviews, conducting tests, evaluation, appointment and training, which have proven their importance during the pandemic, as Warba was aware of the importance of technology, and therefore had taken proactive steps in adopting digitization, which results appeared during the exceptional circumstances imposed by the pandemic.



AlRasheed praised the role of Warba Bank in strengthening strategic partnerships with the relevant official authorities and public and private universities with the aim of serving the efforts to nationalize workers by providing opportunities for Kuwaiti youth, in addition to the training and development efforts that Warba is committed to in order to raise the efficiency of Kuwaiti youth in line with serving the efforts to nationalize workers in which Warba reached many achievements.



She concluded her statement noting that the Human Resources and Public Services Group is leading the efforts that ensure the safety of the work environment for human capital by providing complete protocols designed to promote a safe and healthy environment for clients and employees.
