Warba Bank is sponsoring the first padel tournament for kids in Kuwait, in cooperation with RUN, a sports event organizing company, which will be held next Friday and Saturday, 16 and 17 September. This tournament will include two categories, one for boys including more than 48 teams, and another for girls, with more than 25 teams. The tournament will be held at Mushref Club Padel in.
For his part, Mr. Ayman Salem Al-Mutairi - Director Marketing and Corporate Communications Sector, said: " This sponsorship comes from Warba Bank's belief and social responsibility towards organizing special sports events and games for youth and kids, especially since padel became very popular recently, and it is one of the games with a healthy and useful movement that contributes to building a balanced athletic body."
Al-Mutairi added: "This is the first and unique tournament of its kind in Kuwait for the kid's category, with the participation of a large number of teams for boys and girls," adding: "The bank will continue to support all useful sports activities with the new season, especially after the end of the summer and returning to schools."
It’s worth saying that this sponsorship is not the first for Warba Bank this year, as the bank has sponsored several university padel tournaments, in addition to other sports, most notably diving and the establishment of a special diving team concerned with sports in Kuwait, in addition to several campaigns to preserve the beaches. The Bank seeks to empower young people and build a healthy culture for this category in order to maintain their health and make them spend their free time in useful things.
