As part of Warba Bank’s interest to develop young and national manpower, and prepare them for their career, a strategic partnership was signed between Warba Bank and the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), which includes several initiatives to help further the development of both Warba Bank employees and GUST’s students.
Maali A. Al-Rasheed, Chief Human Resources and General Services Officer noted that this partnership will provide full care for Warba Bank employees who wish to complete Master’s study in the field of business administration, as well as contribute to several activities aimed at supporting university students in various fields to improve their skills and prepare them for the labor market.
This partnership includes several initiatives, including, but not limited to, support for scientific clubs, students obtaining scientific and practical qualifications, support for entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as work on sharing experiences by providing distinguished mentors from the Bank to hone students' talents in practice.
Al-Rasheed also said that this initiative is part of the programs provided by the Warba Institute for Leadership & Learning (WILL), which includes many programs that specialize in qualifying leaders and training programs to develop employees in professional and administrative aspects.
It also includes mandatory training curricula as well as programs targeting university students to develop their educational and practical level, such as providing field training for students and job opportunities through participation in annual job fairs.
