Warba Bank announced founding its own diving team of employees in cooperation with Dive36 centre. The team consists of employees with official diving licenses, and the team is considered a voluntary team working during the members’ spare time. Founding this team is part of the social responsibility in supporting the community and other campaigns for cleaning the seas of Kuwait.
In this regard, Director Marketing and Corporate Communication Mr. Ayman Al-Mutairi said: “The team deals with great professionalism in cooperation with specialists as the team of Dive36. The team aims to contribute to voluntary social work related to cleaning the seas and beaches of Kuwait, in addition to providing assistance for the rehabilitation of new divers, as the marine community constitutes an important aspect of the history and heritage of Kuwait, which must be fully preserved.”
Al-Mutairi added: “Warba Bank is proud to be a pioneer in this field, and is proud of its employees who will contribute to preserving the marine environment of Kuwait by participating in campaigns to clean the seabed and beaches of Kuwait, which will have a positive impact on preserving the Kuwaiti marine environment in next phase.”
Al-Mutairi stressed that the campaign will continue throughout the year, in cooperation with experts and specialists in this field. “Special mechanism of work will be set for the coming period, starting with cleaning all beaches and the seabed from the north of Kuwait on Warba Island to the southern islands of the country, in cooperation with the authorities in charge.”
During 2022, Warba Bank will continue to contribute to many community activities to deliver its effective message of community service and to work on this message it believes in, by participating in activities most notably: cleaning Umm Al-Maradim Island, Padel tournaments, participating in universities’ events and providing many benefits for young people, in addition to many other activities that will continue throughout this year.
