Warba Bank, Kuwait Economic Society Sign MoU to Strengthen Economic Awareness

Warba Bank and the Kuwait Economic Society (KES) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a one-year strategic partnership. The collaboration aims to support economic awareness and knowledge development through joint initiatives that combine banking expertise with academic research to serve the community.

The agreement aligns with Warba Bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy to expand its partnerships with civil society organizations and support national talent development.


Support for Economic Research and Activities:


Under the MoU, Warba Bank will provide annual sponsorship for a range of KES activities, including seminars, conferences, training courses, and economic reports. The partnership focuses on promoting economic dialogue and exchanging expertise across various sectors.

The collaboration also includes the joint publication of periodic economic studies and reports, providing analytical insights to support researchers, decision-makers, and stakeholders in the economic sector.


National Talent Development:


The agreement outlines cooperation in organizing training programs and workshops, offering Warba Bank employees opportunities to participate in academic and economic activities organized by the society. This initiative aims to enhance professional development and expand employees' knowledge of the latest economic and investment trends.

Additionally, the partnership will utilize KES facilities to host joint events and educational sessions, expanding the reach and impact of these community programs.
