50 thousand prizes awaiting the participants “Warba” launches “Warba World” via augmented reality and virtual reality

Warba Bank announced the launch of its major campaign, “Warba World: Cyber Quest,” via augmented reality and virtual reality technologies, in support of the “Let’s Be Aware” campaign launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait in cooperation with the Kuwait Banking Association and local banks, to spread financial awareness among members of society and increasing public awareness of the role of banking sector.



Abdullah Waleed Al-Osaimi - Executive Director Innovation and Partnerships Department at Warba Bank, said: The new campaign launched by Warba Bank focuses on educating the community about the dangers of cybersecurity through the use of visual models and simulations of practical models commonly used by account hackers, which were carefully designed and selected in accordance with the latest advanced technologies so that they allow the participant to closely learn about these methods through diverse and realistic scenarios. In addition to clarifying the best way to deal with these situations in order to measure the level of participants’ knowledge of these situations and increase their knowledge in an appropriate, exciting framework that contributes to achieving the general goals of the Let’s Be Aware campaign.



Al-Osaimi pointed out that this version of the experience will give away 50,000 prizes for the first time in the Kuwait, presented by our partners Astore under the slogan “Everyone is a Winner,” and as part of awareness and financial inclusion, pointing out that participation in the “Warba World” experience is free and available to everyone, calling on them to visit Warba Bank’s accounts on social media to enjoy the experience that was designed specifically for them.



He explained that the experience is available in 3 different languages: Arabic, English, and Hindi, with the aim of reaching the largest possible segment of society.



Al-Osaimi stressed that Warba Bank is keen to share its extensive and comprehensive experience in the financial and banking fields, by communicating with its audience through various social media platforms and other media, which contributes to educating the largest number of followers and viewers about many matters that may concern them regarding managing their money and dealings with their financial institutions.



Al-Osaimi stated that Warba Bank is proud to be one of the first institutions to launch community initiatives to raise awareness of financial and banking affairs, which increases its commitment to support the “Let’s Be Aware” campaign and actively participate in various similar events. The Bank always seeks to raise the level of financial awareness among society and refine their knowledge of the most important services and various banking products offered by the sector that meet their needs, and also provide investment and financing solutions that meet their ambitions.



He noted that Warba Bank will continue to raise awareness among its audience throughout this campaign about the various risks that clients may be exposed to in their banking transactions, including cybercrimes, electronic fraud and scams, as well as cyber threats.
