Warba Bank sponsored the marathon championship for children, in cooperation with Kids in Action, a company that organizes sports events. The marathon was held in a family atmosphere on Saturday, December 2, 2023. This marathon included two categories: a category for boys and a category for girls, and took place on the Kaifan track.
For his part, Mr. Ayman Salem Al-Mutairi - Director Marketing and Corporate Communications, said: “This sponsorship comes out of Warba Bank’s belief and its social responsibility towards organizing special sporting events and games for the youth and young people, especially since the marathon recently gained great popularity, and it is one of the games with healthy and beneficial movement that contributes to building a balanced athletic body.”
Al-Mutairi added: “This race is considered unique in Kuwait for the children’s category, with the participation of a large number of boys and girls,” adding: “The Bank will continue its support for all useful sports activities during the new season, especially after the end of summer and the return of schools.”
This sponsorship is not the first for Warba Bank this year. The Bank has sponsored several university tournaments, in addition to sponsoring the Warba Bank League for schools and universities with several games. It has also contributed with multiple sponsorships for diving and established a private diving team, in addition to multiple campaigns to preserve beaches. The Bank seeks to empower young people and build health culture for this group in order to maintain their health and spend their leisure time with useful things for them.
