Warba Bank announced its official sponsorship of the Kuwait News Agency "KUNA" football team participating in the league of ministries, authorities, and government institutions, in line with the Bank's strategy related to social contributions, especially supporting and investing in sports.
Ayman Salem Al-Mutairi, Director Marketing and Corporate Communications at Warba Bank, said in a press statement today: “This sponsorship is in line with the Bank’s vision and approach towards supporting all sporting activities and events and urging everyone to practice sports, and even encouraging them to raise their technical levels from local to regional and perhaps global”.
Al-Mutairi expressed his pride in this sponsorship of the “KUNA” team, which is considered part of the Bank’s social responsibility contributions, especially since the Kuwait News Agency has an important and major role in the Kuwaiti media and the necessity of strengthening the social and sports aspects of its national employees.
He said that Warba Bank succeeded in moving social initiatives to a new level of innovation by relying on digital technology and modern applications in cooperation with creative Kuwaiti youth. The Bank sponsored various sports games, which confirms its keenness to pay attention to sports and youth activities and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

It is noteworthy that the league of ministries, authorities, and government institutions kicked off on December 26 and continues until January 30, with the participation of the Kuwait News Agency “KUNA”, the National Guard, Kuwait University, Social Securities, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Electricity and Water, and is held at the Yarmouk Sports Club and Kazma Sports Club stadiums.
