: Warba Bank announced the launch of the “Mus’hafi” application for reciting the Holy Qur’an on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative reflects Warba Bank’s commitment to providing comprehensive services with the latest technologies that keep pace with the needs of everyone who wishes to recite the Holy Qur’an via smart phone applications.
The Executive Manager, Sharia Department at Warba Bank, Dr. Essa Al-Qassar said that the “Mus’hafi” application was carefully designed to facilitate the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and make it more enriching, adding that the user can interact with the Holy Qur’an application and benefit from its features easily from his smart device.
Al-Qassar stated that “Mus’hafi” has many wonderful features, such as showing the pages of the Holy Qur’an in a way that is comfortable for the eye, as the colors were chosen with great professionalism to achieve visual comfort for the reader, and care was taken to make the Qur’anic text appear in a size and clarity that user’s eye is drawn to comfortably. The application also includes the feature of colored shading of the Qur’anic text in a way that matches the thematic division of the verses, so that the reader can link Qur’anic events and topics together, which makes it easier for him to contemplate and memorize them. The application was also adorned with melodious voices from a group of proficient Kuwaiti reciters and others, including the distinguished Kuwaiti reciter Ahmed Al-Nafis, in order to make it easier for the user to complete his Qur’anic projects. He can listen to his favorite reciter and correct his recitation, or read the conclusion with him, or complete the Qur’an with him by listening, or he can specify a number of repetitions of verses to memorize them.
“Mus’hafi” also contains multiple approved interpretations and translations of the meanings of verses in English, and there is also the advantage of teaching non-Arabic speakers how to correctly pronounce verses through the sounds of English letters. The application was not devoid of the advantages of distinguished smart search, in addition to adding follow-up breaks, notes, and reminder notifications regarding the completion of the user’s Qur’anic projects or regarding the call to prayer during prayer times in Kuwait.
Al-Qassar pointed out that “Mus’hafi” aims to help the reader master the recitation of the Holy Qur’an correctly, while enhancing his understanding of it, and consolidating the noble meanings of its topics, which makes it easier for him to contemplate it and act according to it. Warba Bank also made sure that all the features of the application work to overcome any difficulty faced by the reader that prevents him from persevering in his daily routine of reciting the Holy Qur’an, as it will be in the hands of the user wherever he goes and travels, memorizing his Qur’anic project plans for him, following him up, and reminding him of their completion.
He stated that Warba Bank is keen to continue its role emanating from its Islamic identity and its strategy of providing digital solutions in disseminating everything that enhances Islamic culture in smart ways, and there is nothing better than disseminating the core of that culture and its foundation, the Book of God, facilitating the access of its correct meanings to people, and serving various segments of its customers by providing such a smart application, which achieves a milestone in the level of recitation and memorization of the Holy Quran in Kuwait.
Al-Qassar concluded his statement by saying that Warba Bank has a special identity for the holy month of Ramadan with a daily prayer time reminder on the main screen of the Bank’s official application. Users can replace this identity by going to Setting, then Personal Files and Topics, then Identity, then Ramadan to replace it easily.
