Warba launches a special application for its employees for the first time in Kuwait

KUWAIT, November 2023:

After reviewing the opinions of the Bank’s employees and implementing the surveys of the Human Resources and Public Services Group and its constant response to their suggestions, Warba Bank announced the launch of a smart application for its employees for the first time, through which they can follow up all their job affairs, such as vacations, training courses, internal job opportunities, and job performance. It also allows requesting a number of services, such as salary certificate, career progression, and others 24 / 7, which makes it easier for them to know all the daily details, tasks, and more other services, by using their own smart phones to save time, which leads to the highest investment in employees' energies and time. The application will also soon enable them to interact with a human resources chatbot.



Warba Bank always works on benefiting from developments and look forward to the latest digital solutions and capabilities that create a healthy and productive work environment for all employees. Among the most prominent features of the application are health insurance services, applying for vacation, registering attendance and departure via the geographic website, training programs, and many more services.


The Chief Human Resources and General Services Officer at Warba Bank, Maali Abdullah Al-Rasheed, said: “We at Warba Bank are fully convinced of the importance of investing in human resources. We also spare no effort to create an appropriate and attractive work environment for the Bank’s employees. Furthermore we work to adopt and keep pace with the latest technical and digital developments in line with the Bank’s directions and its keenness on innovation and creativity, which reflects positively on customer service.



She added that with the current developments in the field of technology and the spread of smart applications, digital solutions have been introduced for Warba Bank employees that enable them to access the Bank’s human resources system at any time and from anywhere via all types of smart phones.



Al-Rasheed stressed the Bank’s keenness to launch the application to meet the needs and aspirations of employees. The application team also listened to the employees’ opinions and comments, which were taken into account during the design and completion phase.



Al-Rasheed explained that the Bank’s employees can handle all their work affairs by using their own smartphones as an additional option to their computers. Explaining that this step will allow them greater flexibility in dealing with urgent matters and developments, in addition to facilitating their job needs and easy access to all services provided by the human resources sector, and which exceed fifty services.



Al-Rasheed highlighted the advantages of the application, explaining that it includes everything related to human resources, as managers can follow up all their employees’ affairs and grant approvals without the need to wait, especially if they are outside working hours or during annual leave inside or outside the country. This also includes requests for regular or sick leave and other leaves, in addition to everything related to training affairs, courses, and external tasks related to work.



Al-Rasheed stressed that the application has the highest standards of security and confidentiality of information in accordance with international standards, noting that Warba Bank always strives to achieve a work environment that meets the required balance in the professional and personal lives of employees. Pointing out that the launch of the new platform comes within a package of activities for comprehensive digital development, which is considered a step forward and is consistent with Warba Bank’s vision and strategy regarding digital transformation.
