Warba Bank announced its sponsorship of the Digital Public Relations Forum (Prospects and Expectations), which is organized by the Kuwait Public Relations Association and with the participation of an elite group of international, Arab and Gulf experts in the profession, as well as a group of specialized media professionals in Kuwait.
On this occasion, the Director Marketing and Corporate Communications at Warba Bank, Ayman Salem Al-Mutairi, said that Warba Bank’s sponsorship of this forum comes from its belief in the important role of the public relations profession, and its great impact on supporting all activities that serve the Kuwaiti community. Adding that this forum is an opportunity for public relations departments in ministries and state institutions to meet and exchange experiences among themselves. Pointing out that the essence of public relations is to achieve human understanding, which requires thinking and planning to achieve this understanding, which is closer to the interim goal than to the direct means.
Al-Mutairi highlighted the active role played by the Public Relations Department of Warba Bank in establishing communication relationships, whether at the internal level among the Bank’s employees by providing care, support, and honoring the employees, or at the level of social, humanitarian, sports, and educational events that the Public Relations Department sponsors within the framework of the Bank’s policy in serving the community, stressing the important advertising role played by the management, which aims to confirm Warba’s excellence in providing innovative banking services to clients, so that Warba Bank remains the bank of choice for all segments of society.
Al-Mutairi pointed out Warba Bank’s keenness to participate and provide support to many humanitarian and social activities that contribute to highlighting the Bank’s image as an integral part of the society in which it operates, enhancing the development process in various fields and maintaining its role in the local and regional market.
Al-Mutairi stressed the importance of developing national professionals through training programmes, conferences and various events during which the experienced professionals in various fields get the opportunity to transfer professional skills to trainees, in addition to exchanging experiences among them, indicating that Warba’s endeavor to support these events comes within the priorities of social responsibility.
He stated that the institutions should realize the extent of development of the public relations and media industry today through the entry of social media into this industry, as these media occupy a large part of it, and with traditional media such as the press, radio, and television continuing to attract followers from various segments through their use of social media as well. Institutions today must pay attention to such development and other future developments that will follow.
