During the holy month of Ramadan, Warba Bank social program full with many activities through which it was keen to communicate with the community and share the meanings of the holy month calling for giving and tolerance. The activities of the Bank during the holy month of Ramadan included various aspects of life, including giving and donation campaigns, others to preserve the health of the body and mind during fasting and the dissemination of Islamic culture through social media; The following is a summary of the Bank events during Ramadan
Communication and compassion with different segments of society:
Warba Bank team launched its first activities during the holy month of Ramadan by visiting the elderly care center, both men and women sections of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and children patients at the Amiri Hospital to congratulate them by the holy month and to check on their condition. During the two visits, the Bank’s volunteer team congratulated the elderly and children by the month of Ramadan and shared the spirit of the month with them, offering them souvenirs inspired by the blessed occasion. The team was keen spread the hope and joy amongst the elderly and children for them to feel the blessing of the holy month and its noble meanings.
Mobile Iftar campaign
Warba Bank cooperated for the second year in a row with the Kuwait Food Bank to distribute foutour meals to fasting people. This year, the Bank covered more areas throughout Kuwait and provided more meals that exceeded 1000 meals a day. It is worth mentioning that Warba Bank allows its credit and prepaid cardholders customers to make a total or partial donation of 1%t that they get as a reimbursement on their purchases in cash inside and outside Kuwait when using their cards, for the benefit of Kuwait Food Bank in order to help needy families in Kuwait.
With the Fayez application…Your health is better ...
During the holy month of Ramadan, Warba Bank was keen to enhance the culture of sport and maintain healthy health by organizing a series of Fayez events at the Avenues mall which spread over the four weekends in the holy month of Ramadan. Whereas the mall visitors participated in this initiative launched by the Bank in order to motivate the general community to exercise during the month of Ramadan, considering the positive effects on the body and also to win several awards through the daily draw conducted by the Bank to motivate them to continue this approach
Staff Activities and Events:
As in previous years, Warba Bank organized a contest to memorize the Holy Qur'an versusfor the children of its employees. The first category includes competitors from 6 to 10 years old and the second category from 11 to 14 years. Ten winners from each category were awarded distinguished gifts to acknowledge their perseverance is memorizing the holy book.
Intensive activity through social networking platforms:
During the blessed month, Warba Bank has intensified through its account ton Istagram, its competitions inspired by the great Islamic civilization and culture which has contributed to enhancing the spread out of the Islamic education which is full of important events and which have constituted the main pillar in building our civilization. The Bank also provided on Instagram, videos specially prepared for this holy month, dealing with various topics such as:, zakaat al-fitr and many other matters that concern fasting.
