Warba Bank announced signing a strategic partnership agreement with Venue 56 Center, to sponsor the activities that the Bank will carry out during the year 2023. This strategic partnership comes in support of the joint e-sports activities between the Bank and the Center, in addition to the development of e-sports, due to its success in various countries of the world, whether in individual or team sports.

In this regard, Ayman Salem Al-Mutairi, Director Marketing and Corporate Communications at Warba Bank, said: “The interest of young people in Kuwait in electronic sports is growing, as is the case all over of the world. Today, electronic sports have become a major center and are considered among the types of mental sports that contribute to self-development and keep pace with the era of digitization.”

Al-Mutairi explained that the Venue 56 Center is an experienced center in the field of e-sports, and that this agreement is the beginning of the Bank’s participation to make the e-sports world a success, as it will be followed by many partnerships to contribute to improving this field of the youth category.

In his turn, Mr. Mohamed Salah Al-Ayoub, the founder of V enue 56 Center, said: “We are pleased today with this strategic partnership with one of the most growing banks in Kuwait, as Warba Bank is considered one of the most supportive banks for youth businesses during the recent period.”

Al-Ayoub stated that this partnership will be over the course of 2023, and will contribute to developing joint work to serve youth and e-sports, in addition to achieving the aspirations of athletes in the field of e-sports.

He pointed out that the Center was established to serve e-sports in all its fields and build electronic successes for Kuwaiti youth to keep pace with regional and international competition, in addition to preparing highly skilled teams for national representation.
