Warba launches "Care" initiative to support talented employees

26 Jul 2022
KUWAIT, JULY 2022:

Warba Bank launched the first-of-its-kind "Care" initiative to support the talented employees in achieving their personal goals away from the career aspect, where a group of employees will be selected and supported on both the material and moral levels to achieve their ambitions.

On this occasion, Chief Human Resources & General Services Officer at Warba Bank, Maali Alrasheed said: “This initiative comes as part of our constant endeavor to create a positive work environment at Warba Bank, and making the bank a milestone in the banking sector in terms of paying attention to employee experiences and raising the level of job satisfaction".

"This year, the focus will be on some talents in fields such as health, sports, and technical sciences, in addition to photography and arts skills. More areas of interest to Warba Bank employees will be included later” she added.

Alrasheed continued, saying that paying attention to the other side of the employee's life and developing it in the aspects that are important to him is no less important than his development in the field of work. Giving attention to the personal side of the employee enhances job loyalty and belonging and is considered an added value to the benefits provided by the Bank to its employees.

These efforts are part of the Bank’s social responsibility, and the employee, Othman Ahmed Al-Badawi, will be the first employee to be selected, as he will enhance his talent in photography by shooting the stages of the migration of wild animals in Kenya during the months of July and August of this year.

The bank will sponsor Al-Badawi on his trip, who will participate in the upcoming local and regional competitions with his professional photos taken during his trip. The trip will also be fully covered on Instagram. During this year, the Bank will fulfill the wishes of at least 10 employees in order to develop and enhance their professional skills.

It is worth mentioning that the Human Resources and Public Services Group is working on an integrated plan during 2022 in order to motivate employees to unleash their personal creativity. The Group constantly listens to employees’ opinions and suggestions regarding the work environment and improving productivity through official channels such as annual online surveys or through meetings and discussions that target specific segments and that meet employees' satisfaction.
