KUWAIT, March 2023

Warba Bank announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with the Public Relations Club at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST). This partnership is part of Warba Bank's social responsibility program, which the Bank emphasized by supporting young people of all ages during this year, as Warba Bank will sponsor all the activities organized by the Public Relations Club on the university campus. The Warba Bank team will also be present based on its constant interest to support youth activities and events at all levels, especially those that aim to stimulate their creativity and abilities and develop their scientific and practical skills.

Ayman Salem Al-Mutairi, Director Marketing and Corporate Communications at Warba Bank, said: “After the success achieved by Warba Bank in cooperation with the Gulf University for Science and Technology through this strategic partnership to sponsor all the activities of the Public Relations Club, and according to the positive echoes that we have seen from the students, for whom this support was a great incentive to innovate and carry out more activities, whether scientific, educational or recreational; Warba Bank saw the importance of extending this partnership so that it would be an active member in making the academic experience for students more enriching at all levels.” Noting that the sponsorship continues for a year, during which Warba Bank participates in the activities that the Club holds for students.

Al-Mutairi explained that the Gulf University for Science and Technology is cooperating with Warba Bank, in addition to a number of other universities, in the Bank's pioneering program to adopt the creative students ‘Rowad’. He added that Warba Bank believes in the importance of supporting youth and providing them with all appropriate opportunities to achieve progress, especially those that will affect them in their next career. This is what prompted Warba Bank to open the way for university students to participate in its “Rowad” program for supporting innovations in the Kuwaiti banking sector, in which a number of students from GUST also participated.

Warba Bank is considered one of the banks that achieved great successes during a short period, as it was at the forefront in the field of Islamic digital banking services for individuals, and it is also considered one of the most local banks with the number of its shareholders. This is considered one of the most important factors that make the Bank close to all members of society, especially the youth.
