Warba Bank is always keen to serve all his different clients from all segments and different needs. In response to this vision, Warba Bank cooperates with Syncom to facilitate banking services for people with special needs from the deaf and hard of hearing people category and to have these services carried out smoothly and easily.
Syncom is the first visual application in the world and the Arab world that provides banking services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing People in addition to other applications and services. However, all the services facilitate the deaf person to access services, especially financial ones in a confidential & private atmosphere i.e opening an account, issuing credit cards as well as other services.
Now, in five branches distributed across different areas of Kuwait, there are a Tablet containing Syncom application specialized to serving these group, responding to their inquiries and needs and assist them in completing all their banking transactions.
Commenting on this new service which is expected to cover all Warba Bank branches, Mr. Abdullah Nasser Al-Shoael first Director of the Branches said that:” Owing to the increased numbers of Deaf and Hard of Hearing People , nearly 5,000 adults (9% of all people of determination with special needs), Warba Bank believes that it is necessary to play an active role in their lives because of the difficulties they face, especially while dealing with banking transactions.
Al-Shoael added that :” Now, with the available syncom services in five branches of Warba Bank, the bank shall save these group the burden of depending on a third party to carry out their oral or audio inquiries about the services or as to ensure the validity of these transactions to complete them. Thus they will be able to depend on themselves to carry out or make decisions related to their banking transactions without the need to seek the assistance of any other party. As this will ensure a full private atmosphere. This service also protects the customers from any fraud or cheating, as they will be fully documented by video, to protect their rights and properties.
Al- Shoael emphasized the commitment of Warba Bank with the directions of the Central Bank of Kuwait to overcome all obstacles in front of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing People clients.
It is worth mentioning that the five available branches to provide such service are: Kaifan, Salmeya, Farwaniya, Aqeela, the Airport. It is worth mentioning also that the branches dedicated entirely to people with special needs are: (Sharq - Al-Shuhada - Avenues - Fahaheel - Jahra). In these branches there are professional customer- service staff who have the expertise in sign language to serve Deaf and Hard of Hearing People clients.
