Kuwait, June 2023:

Warba Bank has announced the signing of a collaboration agreement with the "Plant it for Free" initiative for the Moringa tree, which will be in effect until December 31 of the following year. This agreement is part of Warba Bank's social responsibility strategy and reflects its commitment to spreading awareness about the importance of environmental preservation and agriculture.



Ayman Salem Al-Mutairi, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Warba Bank, emphasized that this agreement embodies the spirit of the initiative and the bank's dedication to supporting community engagement and encouraging volunteer work. Warba Bank stands out among banks for its commitment to excellence and leadership in the technical field and for sponsoring impactful projects and initiatives led by youth.



He continued, saying, "There was a desire to collaborate with Al-Ghanim Moringa Farm, as it is the first organic farm specializing in Moringa tree cultivation in Kuwait since 2013. The farm also manufactures health products and provides free distribution of Moringa seedlings as part of its 'Plant it for Free' campaign. This aligned and resonated with the values and strategic objectives of Warba Bank, which supports community service. Therefore, both parties expressed their willingness to organize external and internal events and activities for employees."



Al-Mutairi emphasized that the strategic agreements and partnerships established by Warba Bank are a testament to its crucial role in serving the entire community and its deep commitment to environmental issues. The bank recognizes the importance of collaborating with relevant official entities to preserve the environment. In the past, Warba Bank has actively supported and participated in a wide range of environmental activities in collaboration with various organizations. In response, Fatima Yousuf Al-Ghaith, the General Manager of Al-Ghanim Moringa Farm, expressed her sincere appreciation for the active role played by "Warba" Bank through the signing of this agreement. She commended the bank's initiative to provide comprehensive support, utilizing its capabilities as a reputable private institution.



Al-Ghaith provided further details regarding the agreement, stating that educational lectures on the Moringa tree, its benefits, and practical applications will be delivered to "Warba" Bank's customers. Additionally, campaigns will be conducted to distribute Moringa seedlings to both the bank's customers and employees. Furthermore, "Warba" Bank, in collaboration with Al-Ghanim Moringa Farm, will organize various activities in commercial complexes, where the seedlings will be distributed free of charge to the general public. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the Moringa tree and encourage individuals to benefit from its potential advantages.
